We are honoured to be invited by Wedding Compass who hosted a WPIC Certified Wedding Planners Afternoon Tea Get-Together at the Hilton Suite in Markham last Sunday. Rhonda is the wedding day coordinator for one of our couple's wedding. She specializes in Asian weddings and is an expert on Chinese wedding custom.
Last Sunday was "Chinese New Year's Eve", Rhonda took the opportunity providing a Chinese New Year 101 session to her fellow WPIC certified wedding planners. Every guest received a red pocket with a gold Yuen-Pao (ancient chinese currency), and a Chinese Calligraphy Scroll; all symbolize luck and fortune.
